Aogiri High School, formerly known as Aogiri High School Game Club, is a spin-off of the Game Club Project. On October 27, 2018, Aogiri High School Game Club started posting streams and skits on their YouTube channel. The channel was formed by Otodama Tamako (音霊魂子) and Minazuki Natsuki. The two member of the group labeled Oshiro Mashiro and Minazuki Natsuki have officially retired.

On October 27, 2018, Aogiri High School started their activity on social media, particularly on YouTube. Their first video on YouTube is titled, “Tamako Otodama ~Aogiri HighSchool Game-Bu~.”

Since from the start, Aogiri High School VTuber group has consistently posted skits and gameplay videos on their YouTube channel. Some members of Aogiri have their own YouTube channel, some of them are retired, and most of them are still entertaining people with their humorous and captivating streams.

• There were over 12 members of the group. Out of which, two have retired, and the rest are still posting group streams on their main channel.
• On June 26, 2020, Aogiri High School Game Club changed their name into Aogiri High School.
• Being a successor of Game Club, several Game club members joined the Aogiri High School. The first game club member to join Aogiri was Tamako.
• On January 27, 2019, Aogiri High School Game Club girls crossover happened with Game Club girls where they posted a stream together. It was legitimately fun.
• Before joining Aogiri, Kurikoma Komaru auditioned Hololive which she failed.
• On April 1, 2023, Aogiri High School was transferred to Tokyo-based entertainment company viviON from Brave Group.

2018-22

In the first year, あおぎり高校 – Aogiri Vtuber High School YouTube channel posted a very few videos, usually revealing new outfits for their models, anime videos, and telling the lore of the different virtual characters. Subsequently, On April 15, 2019, Ishikari Akari joined the school.

In February 2020, Tamako, Natsuki, and Akari got their own individual YouTube channels. On May 1, 2020, Mashiro got her own channel and posted her very first video on May 29, 2020.

On April 12, 2021, Yamaguro debuted and since then has become one of the most beloved and fan favorite character. Furthermore, On August 14, 2021, and August 15, 2021, Chiyoura Chiyomi and Kurikoma Komaru debuted respectively.

On April 15, 2022, a former independent VTuber Gabu Rieru who currently has over 207k subscribers on her official YouTube channel Rieru Ch. 我部りえる /あおぎり高校 was transferred to Aogiri Vtuber High School.

2023-25

On July 14, 2023, Harusame Urame debuted. After half a year, On January 26, 2024, Puwapuwa Popura debuted.

On February 28, 2025, Oshiro Mashiro decided to retire from a group due to her physical health problems and issues.
